J.E.Marlow & Sons Limited may provide hyperlinks from our website to websites of third parties (including member organisations). Please note that this statement applies only to the content of this website.
Please note that the customer is liable for all import taxes and duties in the destination country. Please check with your local FedEx office about costs if any. All purchases made within the UK include VAT.
PURCHASE ON PREMISES- Please check all goods on receipt. Make sure you have received the correct product as there can be human errors. Please also ensure that you are satisfied with the product and quality of the workmanship. We intend for you to enjoy your jewellery for a lifetime and pass it on to future generations.
Diamond and gemstone jewellery set in precious metals like gold and platinum are delicate items which can suffer wear and tear over time. We offer a free after care of lifetime sizing, cleaning, polishing service for any item (excluding silver and 9k products) sold by us unless disproportionate wear and tear has occurred. A written proof of purchase is required to use this service. This care is not available for any product made in 9k Gold and silver and all lab grown products. Aftercare can be purchased at an additional cost at checkout. We strongly recommend you take out appropriate insurance for all products as any loss to the central stone in any product is not covered by any after care. All aftercare usually takes a minimum of 10 working days after submission and may take substantially longer depending on complexity
Unfortunately, we will be unable to accept any third party items for repair within our workshop, with or without charge. This is to safeguard both of us against any liability. There are specialist repairers/engravers in the area who we can recommend should you require this service for jewellery you own but purchased elsewhere. -Any item made bespoke for you, or any other alterations to our original design which you require and we may not recommend, will not be our liability after delivery.
Unless we accept a refundable deposit in writing, you have entered into a contract with us and any deposit or payment is non-refundable if purchased in our premises. We may issue credit notes instead, for you to use within a three year period. Normal rules apply for distance purchases.
Smaller round diamonds set in any setting can occasionally fall out as there is hardly any metal holding the very small diamonds. It is the nature of the design. This is correct of any item of jewellery you buy from any jeweller in the world. We will endeavour to replace any smaller round diamond/s (We will not be able to replace any fancy shape diamonds) lost due to normal wear and tear at our cost with some limitations and subject to proof of purchase documents being available for us to confirm the purchase. We pride ourselves as being the UK jeweller to offer this service throughout the lifetime of our jewellery. This offer is only valid while purchasing 18k and platinum products with natural mined diamonds. For 9k silver and all lab grown products, please purchase the after care package or ask a member of staff for more information.
As we will be unable to replace any certificated central diamond or gemstone and/or any other diamond or gemstone over 0.10ct at our expense under any circumstances once you accept delivery of the item, we always advise that you insure all of your jewellery against accidental damage or losses. As we do not supply our own insurance, you may either use your current insurer or we recommend TH March at www.thmarch.co.uk.
The above does not affect your statutory rights as a Consumer.
Lifetime warranty is not available/does not apply to ANY purchase made with finance.

We take reasonable care to ensure information on our website is accurate. Product photographs are intended to represent our jewellery as accurately as reasonably possible. Colours, proportions and appearance may vary due to photography, lighting, screens and the individual characteristics of diamonds, gemstones and precious metals. Images may not represent products at actual size. Diamonds and gemstones have individual characteristics and may naturally vary. Where a stone is independently certified, details of the relevant grading laboratory will be provided where applicable. Diamond grading involves expert assessment and minor differences can occur between laboratories or assessments. Carat weights, dimensions and measurements may be subject to reasonable manufacturing tolerances. Nothing on our website constitutes financial or investment advice.
All products, diamonds and gemstones are subject to availability. Certain diamonds and gemstones displayed online may be held within our international supplier network rather than physically at our Dubai premises. Availability is not guaranteed until your order has been reviewed and accepted. If an item becomes unavailable, we may offer a suitable alternative. You are not required to accept an alternative and may instead receive a refund of any amount paid for an item we cannot supply.
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. An automatic order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted. Before accepting an order, we may verify availability, pricing, payment, product specifications, delivery information and appropriate security or fraud-prevention information. A binding contract is formed when we confirm acceptance or otherwise begin fulfilling the order, as applicable. We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance where we have a legitimate reason. If we cancel after taking payment and no alternative is agreed, the relevant amount will be refunded.
Many Marlow's Diamonds products are individually made, set, finished, resized or prepared for each customer. Unless otherwise stated or agreed, please allow up to 4 weeks for your product to be completed and ready for dispatch. This is a production timeframe and does not include international shipping or customs clearance. Complex bespoke pieces may take longer. We will advise you where this applies. If you require jewellery for a particular date, please contact us before ordering.
Prices may be displayed in different currencies. The price payable is the price confirmed at checkout, subject to these Terms. Exchange rates and prices may change. Your bank or payment provider may apply its own exchange rate or international transaction charges, which are outside our control.
International orders may be subject to VAT, GST, sales tax, import duties, customs charges, brokerage fees or other destination-country charges. Where taxes or duties are collected by us at checkout, this will be indicated where reasonably possible. Where they are not expressly included, you are responsible for charges imposed by your destination country or relevant third parties. We will accurately declare international shipments and will not undervalue an order or incorrectly declare it as a gift to avoid tax or duty.
If an obvious pricing error occurs, we may contact you before accepting or dispatching the order and offer the choice of purchasing at the correct price or cancelling. Any amount paid for a cancelled affected item will be refunded.
Available payment methods will be shown during checkout. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Orders may be subject to payment, identity, security and fraud-prevention checks.
Bespoke, commissioned, engraved, personalised, customised and certain made-to-order products are created specifically for you. Once sourcing, manufacture or customisation has begun, it may not be possible to change or cancel your order. These products may also be excluded from change-of-mind returns. This does not affect mandatory rights where goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied.
For bespoke orders, we may provide sketches, CADs, renders or stone selections for approval. You are responsible for checking dimensions, proportions, stones, setting styles, engraving, metal and other specifications before approving the design. Once approved and production begins, changes may incur additional charges and delays. Finished jewellery may vary slightly from digital renders due to manufacturing tolerances, finishing and the individual characteristics of materials.
Customers are responsible for supplying the correct ring size unless otherwise agreed. Some rings can be resized; others have limited resizing possibilities or may need to be remade. This depends on the design, setting, metal, gemstones and amount of size adjustment required. Full-set eternity rings and certain other designs may not be suitable for resizing.
Fine jewellery is subject to wear. Precious metals, claws, settings and bands can scratch, bend or wear over time. Normal wear and tear is not necessarily a manufacturing defect. We recommend regular inspection and professional cleaning, particularly for jewellery worn daily.
Certain qualifying products may include complimentary aftercare. Depending on the product, this may include professional inspection, cleaning, polishing and resizing where technically possible. Unless expressly stated otherwise, complimentary lifetime aftercare applies to qualifying 18ct gold and platinum jewellery set with natural mined diamonds purchased from Marlow's Diamonds. Silver, 9ct gold, laboratory-grown diamond jewellery and other excluded products are not automatically included unless expressly stated. Aftercare is not insurance and does not automatically cover accidental damage, excessive wear, misuse, loss, theft or replacement of lost stones. Proof of purchase may be required.
Any manufacturing warranty is provided in addition to mandatory legal rights. Manufacturing defects do not ordinarily include normal wear, scratches, dents, accidental damage, impact damage, worn or damaged claws, inappropriate care, loss, theft or damage caused by third-party alterations. Third-party repair, resizing or alteration may affect our ability to provide warranty or aftercare relating to that work.
Jewellery settings are subject to wear and should be inspected regularly. Unless expressly covered under a written warranty or aftercare package, we do not automatically replace lost diamonds or gemstones unless their loss resulted directly from a confirmed manufacturing defect for which we are responsible.
We strongly recommend appropriate insurance for valuable jewellery. Our aftercare and manufacturing warranties are not substitutes for insurance against accidental damage, loss or theft.
Independent grading reports represent the grading laboratory's professional assessment of the stone at the time of examination. They are not investment valuations or guarantees of future value. We are not responsible for subsequent changes in the market value of jewellery, diamonds or gemstones.
Jewellery will be marked or hallmarked where required by the laws applicable to the relevant product or market. Requirements vary between countries. Resizing, repair or alteration can sometimes affect an existing mark and additional charges may apply where re-marking or re-hallmarking is required.
We deliver to selected destinations worldwide. Delivery availability, charges and estimated times will be shown or confirmed where applicable. International deliveries may be subject to customs clearance and delays outside our reasonable control. Please see our Delivery & Returns Policy for full details.
Eligible purchases may be returned in accordance with our Delivery & Returns Policy . Eligibility may depend on the product, customisation, condition and applicable consumer law. Bespoke, engraved, personalised or altered products may not qualify for change-of-mind returns. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
If an item is faulty, damaged on arrival or different from what you ordered, please contact us promptly. We may require photographs and/or return of the item for inspection. Where appropriate, remedies may include repair, replacement, exchange, price reduction or refund in accordance with applicable law.
Original grading reports, certificates and relevant accessories should be returned with a returned product. Where legally permitted, reasonable replacement or re-certification costs may be deducted from a discretionary refund if a certificate is not returned.
Unless otherwise stated, promotional offers cannot be combined, have no cash value, apply only during the stated period and cannot be retrospectively applied to completed purchases. Product or diamond exclusions may apply.
Marlow's branding, website content, photographs, videos, graphics, product imagery and protected designs are owned by or licensed to us. They may not be commercially reproduced or exploited without permission except where permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or mandatory consumer rights where doing so would be unlawful. Subject to applicable law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was entered into or losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including courier disruption, customs delays, strikes, natural disasters, extreme weather, governmental restrictions, war, civil disturbance or major technology or supplier disruption.
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy .
These Terms & Conditions and contractual and non-contractual obligations arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
Nothing in this section deprives a consumer of mandatory protections that apply and cannot lawfully be excluded.
Any dispute, difference, controversy or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms & Conditions or a contract between you and Marlow's Diamonds, including any question regarding its existence, validity, interpretation, performance, discharge or applicable remedies, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC Courts). This is subject to mandatory jurisdictional or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The Terms applicable to your purchase will generally be those in force when your order is placed unless otherwise required by law.
